J.T. with second string

Here's an update from the 49ers' camp on Friday from the Santa Rosa Press Democrat: Shaun Hill was back with the first team and former UCD star J.T. O'Sullivan saw reps with the second team. Former No. 1 draft pick Alex Smith received a day off.

49ers coach Mike Nolan was quoted as saying the plan with the three quarterbacks would be "flexible" the rest of camp, indicating everyone would get a fair shot at running the offense.

There's an interesting quote from Nolan about the dynamics between the three quarterbacks as well.

The San Francisco Chroncile reports more about the competition too.

The Chronicle said O'Sullivan went 20-for-26 with the second team with two touchdowns in the red zone.
